I know i posted a similar thread a few days ago but the massive further reductions warrant a new thread imo. Also i know not everyone will get these so just a reminder

Pictures show the game name on the reduced price label - so should be ample proof

Based on the OP, I'd say no porkies here.

Look forward to the OP proving the doubters wrong (as in all threads!).

because it's VERY store specific, definitely NOT nationwide uniform price/availability, in the other thread MANY people(inc' me) had ventured to their local stores but prices were reduced to no where near the prices the OP/a few others managed to get.

prices were hand written on, pretty much at the store managers discretion/choosing, understandable after stock taking different stores have different stock available, but really not fair the exact same product/game/bluray, are selling at different prices at different stores.

its not store manager discretion-this is to do with a mega complicated deal asda did with the accountants handling the bankruptcy of euk distribution-there is a huge list of titles-the price each store sells for is dependent on how many copies of each that store has in stock-there is a formula based on how many discs you have in the warehouse-its all fairly silly really but thats why prices vary so wildly from store to store.

well thanks for the info, another member explained the reason why different stores have different stock due to stocking taking season, and now you gave a more understandable reason for the price variations, even though it's silly & complicated, better just uniform nationwide.

but still annoying nonetheless for the many people who missed out.

well at least the stickers in your photos have price printed on, in my store they were hand written on, makes things worse gives false hope they may be able to change it by the stroke of a pen.
