According to manufacturer's website, it has a 1.3M web-cam and 6-cell battery.

All XP drivers can be found in this file:
ftp://ftp.hercules.com/ecafe/EC-900-...XP_drivers.zip

Keep it safe for any restore/fresh installing XP attempt!

only thing i'd be wary about is the ZIF HARD DRIVE! (they're not very common outside of mp3 players, like the ipod)

the rest of it looks pretty good

Hi all,

Just checking if someone already bought one and what their conclusions are? I had a look at some French sites and seemingly the reviews are actually quite good (screen gets really good mention). The only minor negative is the HD that is a bit on the slow side.
The charger is pretty "light weight" but this also means it takes ages to recharge the battery.

Debating whether to buy a refurbished Acer Aspire One 150 (9 inch, 1GB and 120GB) with a 3 cell battery pack at £163 or this machine at £200?

Any suggestions?
Many thanks in advance,
Kind regards

Greg

I bought one just before dropping my daughter off at school.

I got the first one and a lady got the second straight after - the store only had three.

I'm charging it up. It was at 68% after an hour - did'nt notice what it started at.

The screen is very clear in a normal room with normal office lighting.

The power cord is like a 'phone one, a bit spindly.

First power up takes circa 2 mins to get to setup screen.

Subsequent power up was 30-odd seconds.

At 91% now - so it does take a little time to charge up.
