FOUND BY: howardevansgb 5 months, 3 weeks ago

This is not generally known but If you have a Eurostar journey booked either departing or arriving from Ashford International station or Ebbsfleet International station you will be able to travel free on the Souteastern train network.

In order to benefit from this service you will need to show your Eurostar ticket and passport/European Union Identity card or your printed Eurostar booking confirmation and your passport/ European Union Identity card. Your journey must be made on the most direct route between Ashford International or Ebbsfleet International and your departure or destination and must be made within 12 hours of your Eurostar journey.

The class of service on Southeastern train will be in standard class regardless of the class of travel of your Eurostar ticket.

you can also travel to St Pancas. A recent ticket also allowed travel anywhere in Belgium so long as you don't use the high speed ICE or Thalys trains on the same day as eurostar travel.

It's true. If you get a Eurostar ticket to Brussels, you can change trains there and get to just outside Luxembourg. You just have to pay for the one extra stop which is <£10. Luxembourg is well worth a visit.
