So in fact, this Asda deal works out a lot better than the 3 for £20 deal at Tesco. (Obviously though, the previous posters were basing their sums on the original information given.)

Tesco = 15.336 litres for £20 = £1.30 per litre / 74p per pint.

Asda = 19.8 litres for £20 = £1.01 per pint / 57p per pint.

Mind you, while you will be able to buy just £5 worth to cash in on the Asda offer, it might not be easy to bulk buy, as they often have restrictions in place.

The beauty of the old school 330ml bottles is that you're not up off your backside every 5 minutes getting a new one like you are with the (con)new bottles!
