Was in my local branch yesterday when I saw this for £249.97. Went back to buy it today and itscanned at £199.97. Seems like a good deal for a hi-def camcorder with 40gb HDD.

Gets good reviews too.

Tis true. 97p means end of line.

It was on a shelf with yellow labels stating "MASSIVE REDUCTIONS". There were other things too like DSLR's and lenses but I was too focused on the camcorder.

Best bet is to just get down there. If you ring them, they'll most likely keep for themselves.

The Richmond store is a good one to check.

This is a major bargain if you can get one!!

I was looking at HD camcorders last year and ended up with the Sony SR12 at £830 but this was my second choice at around £600

Got the last one from the Stratford branch... should have seen the guys face when he scanned it in.... I heard him to say to his assistant... "have you seen the price of this?" haha, he told me currys paid £540 for these when they bought them.... well chuffed, nice piece of kit, Cheers Op
