Just seen in the daily mirror, 8,000 free train tickets return journeys,Liverpool,Manchester,Birmingham,Holyhead,Edingburgh,Glasgow,London.Just says buy mondays daily mirror.

Ive spent ages collecting these vouchers before but have never managed to find tickets for the right time. Maybe this VIrgin one will be better than the usual GNER promotions.

I managed to get Wolverhampton to Aberdeen first class return for £40 one year, using the vouchers from the Mail, following year tried to book the same trip and there was absolutely no availability for that route whatsoever, no matter what days you tried (and believe me, I tried every single day of the offer period!!)

Wow! Booked free tickets, thanks! Manchester - london return for fathers day weekend!

In the T&C's it says you need to provide a copy of the paper with the tickets to the inspector on the train.

P.s. Should be only available on the Saturday/Sunday of each weekend, but you can actually get the last train on Friday and the first train on Monday too Just select the weekend dates, then click 'earlier train' / later train buttons on the journey details and they pop up!

There is currently availiablility on EVERY train on the weekends that the promotion is running on.
