I agree, I got the game via rental and it is bloody aweful! Only played it for 2-3 minutes, its that bad!

Yea I bought it on pre-order and really wish I hadn't. I can't recommend it to anyone. I no personal preferences aren't meant to effect if a deals hot or cold but this game is pretty awful.
