These things are GREAT! It looks similar to a unit I bought from Argos over 15 years ago and still using, except the shelves are particle board and mine are galvanised steel.

You can split this into 2 lower level shelving units, put the shelves at any level you want, they're sturdy as anything.

I've been using one half of this as a slightly 'industrial' looking AV stand for years. Whenever you get rid of or add new kit over years you can just add/remove/raise/lower the shelves! Games consoles, DVR, large LCD TV etc.

Looks great I think (maybe don't like the particle board look so much) and very practical.

For more than a 32" LCD you might have to saw off the sticking up supports that will run up in front of of the screen from the top shelf up - doesn't compromise the structure of the shelving at all.

I could not manage to apply either of the discount code to lower the price from £26.40 to £24.99 and free home delivery.

Any helping hand there?

if you look at the bottom of the page it says: "* Please note item 7000814 has previously been on sale at £24.99." The price has gone up. The discount codes won't work for this

If you have children like ours that love climbing up everything then be very careful with these shelves. We had to return ours because we felt it too dangerous with our kids around. These do not use screws but rather slot into place. They can very easily be taken apart if you knock the shelves from below, deliberately or otherwise.

These did look like they would be sturdy once loaded, but I don't think I would dare move it after assembly.

We ended up getting shelves that also bolted to the walls... which we had to leave behind when we moved.

But not a bad price for what you get, you could not buy the materials for this money. Voted hot.
