Was posted toward the end of last year but the Lidl breakdown warning triangle is now on sale again at an unbeatable £2.99. Bought one this morning for summer hols and the quality is great, and, like for like, this price is unbeatable. The Wickes ones are pretty poor and Halfords sell a virtually identical one for around £15.
Durable light and compact
With foldout robust iron feet
Conforms to E11 27R033910
Size unfolded (cm): 44 x 38 x 45
Also comes in a plastic carrycase so easily stored on board.

Had already been to see the Wickes one. As per original post, check like for like - lidl one was more substantial.

I could make one for free out of a coat hangar, some red polythene and gaffer tape if I wanted, but i'm sure there would be a quality issue somewhere.....hehe

If you're travelling to Spain, then it's probably worth getting two. It is a legal requirement for Spanish registered vehicles to carry 2, and for other vehicles to carry 1, however, there have been stories of some people getting fined anyway.

While there see if you can find yourself an AA emergency kit, had a few reduced at my store from £29.99 to £9.99.

I got one of these a few years ago out of Poundland, so might be worth a look if you've got one locally - no idea if they still sell them or not.
I posted a set of 4 hi-vis vests, AA branded, in Tesco for £4 a while ago - was in a few stores last week and there were loads available. Good deal - 2 adult sizes, 2 kids. Someone said they might also be available individually in Poundland.
