in my experience of doing a few of these (usually corporate days though) you need much more than 20 mins.
look around and i am sure you can get better.

IMHO go for the caterham car experience, or the lotus elise/exige car, or a single seater formula ford etc.
these are far better than the bigger car experiences.

20 mins of track time does seem expensive - the whole experience is around an hour - but £100 is what you normally pay for this sorta thing

Bare in mind that on a £100k car, with 50% going to the retailer, and £25 going to the track, they'd need to run 4,000 of these to make the cost of the car back!

It's normal for these things.

Last time I did one it was on the Brands Hatch indy circuit, You get a cup of tea in the reception area, then you get a briefing, about 1/2 hour on safety, pits procedure, track rules etc, plus a little film. Then you get shown around the pits and the car, ,another 1/2 hour. Helmet fitting. Then you go on track with an instructor, who shows you how to approach the corners, brake, apex etc. Then you get sent off for 10 laps of driving. Afterwards someone gives you a scorecard (made up BS), a certificate and a photo. Takes up most of an afternoon.

Anyone who goes, if you have big feet, don't wear big boots or fat chavvy nike trainers. You need light footwear like converse (or Sparco if you can get hold of a pair). The pedals are very tight on space.

They only need to make back what they lose in residual value.

true, but would you want to buy a 50 thousand mile ferrari thats spent all its life on the track? I'd not expect the running costs (tyres\brakes\clutch) to be cheap either
