£20 - £25 everywhere else.

Mirror compass from swiss manufacturer Recta, who make top quality navigational instruments. This is a 'beginner's' model, but still very high quality, accurate and reliable.

* Mirror compass for beginners.
* Fixed declination correction scale.
* Luminous markings and bezel.
* Radius vectors on the cover to measure the inclines.
* Scales: 1:10 000, 1:15 000
* Graduation 360º
* Size 75 x 55 x 17 mm (with closed lid)
* Weight 44 g

Ordered myself one to replace a lost compass. For those with a need, this is a great price.

Hardly a big reduction on something overpriced in the first place.

Don't need a compass to see which way this is going!

Didn't expect it to do differently. It's too specialised and not a TV or video game.

But you are wrong; it's a very good deal. It's over half price, and it is a very good compass, and in no way overpriced even at £20.

This isn't just a cheap piece of rubbish. Compasses are not made equally. When you have to rely on something to make sure you get home at night, it has to be accurate and reliable. Those £2 jobs you can get from Tesco or Sports Direct don't cut it.
