I'm wary of this deal - I took up Lastminute.com's offer of a "Top Secret Hotel" in London.

Worst hotel room I've ever stayed in and wasn't worth the discount rate, let alone the promoted "usual" price. If I'd known I would've booked a Travelodge instead...

I'd disagree completely with that, last secret hotel I stayed in was the London Hilton and it was the Suite!!! and it only cost me £100 compared to the expected £400!!!!

do google the description first.a lot of them are out of the way or poor,but no doubt the canny shopper can spot a goodie!(runs off to google them)
edit- 5* one in budapest is the adina apartment hotel.

word of advice do NOT stay at the top secret hotel Grange City in Tower Hill, location is good but honestly i have seen better rooms in Holiday Inn Express hotels, was not worth the 100 GBP i spent.

booked a secret room in Belfast just last week. Turned out to be a 4* great bargain at £68.41 unusual price but excellent value. Will try again.
