Many items (particularly videos games and entertainment) on Amazon are now being listed as 'Fulfilled by Amazon'. This means:
'Fulfilment by Amazon (FBA) is a service Amazon offers sellers that lets them store their products in Amazon's warehouses, and Amazon directly does the picking, packing, shipping and customer service on these items. Something Amazon hopes you'll especially enjoy: FBA items are eligible for FREE Super Saver Delivery and for Amazon Prime just as if they were Amazon items.'
Bascially, as far as the buyer is concerned, THEY ARE BUYING THE PRODUCT DIRECTLY FROM AMAZON. All payment, shipping and customer service is handled by Amazon, in fact you would never know another company had been involved if Amazon hadn't let you know on the item page.
So, although in some legal sense this IS being sold by an Amazon Marketplace seller, is it okay to list these as AMAZON deals? I have just listed Dead Space on PC, sold by a marketplace seller but it is 'Fulfilled by Amazon' (the items have 'Free Spuer Saver Delivery' in the marketplace section on the right side of the page, so you can spot them easily). It is an Amazon deal in every way, surely?
In the past I have not posted deals because of this, but we really need clarification on this point; I personally think 'Fulfilled by Amazon' items should be counted as a normal Amazon deal on HUKD.
DISCUSS....or, if you're a SuperMod, let us know if this has been discussed in the past.
