I think thats a bit unfair Stacey. Thats a good deal for a branded, hell its a good price for anything. Your comment just deters posters from posting deals.

My son has an Iphone and I now want one.

The internet experience on it is superb, I tried a N95 and it was poor; my current BT HTC is not much better, and all you get are WAP pages anyway - The Iphone gives you true internet with no restrictions on 'mobile' web pages.

So it's camera isn't 8mp - so what, I own a proper camera anyway a mobile phone cmaera is best for snapping unusual items not general photography.

A Belkin case is around £15 - and you DO need a case to protect the back of an Iphone

True that, but I have the switcheasy rebel case, bit pricey at £14.99, but offers amazing protection for the iPhone 3G and 3G S. Plus you get a couple of screen protectors thrown in with the case and a little video stand so you can watch videos whilst having the phone horizontal.

I had an Xperia before I got mine and there simply is no comparison with the HTC Win Mobile phones or those Google Android things, in terms of support and usability the iPhone just wipes the floor with them.

Seems to be a good price, but to be honest the design is a bit naff.

I have bought a leather case for £15.....i preferred not to wait and let the iPhone get scratched.

I also had the N95 and used the internet everyday.......using the iPhone is a world apart. I actually look at web pages downstairs instead of going to my desktop now. Horse for courses I suppose, but the iPhone seems to have focused on user ability rather than adding new technology features. I can't see me going back to Nokia now.

apple's first ever phone and instantly become the best phone! i never liked apple computers but since i bought the iphone(first gen) i have a different view on apple pcs!

good deal, heat added.

the iphone has a lovely slick interface that nothing can match.

still i chose the the new i8910 HD (omnia HD) as it packs in more tech yet i can still do everything that an iphone can do.

AMOLED 16:9 screen and 8mp camera with 1280x720 video (AAC codec update coming too) . It really is a fantastic camera - In addition to being a phone these were the features that sold it for me.
