looks good. I noticed though on the website it states

******THIS IS A REFURBISHED ITEM AND MAY HAVE MINOR MARKS ON IT******

Personally I would rather pay the little extra and get brand new

The ebuyer Acer is a lot better value, unless you really want an SSD-based netbook (having an SSD based Acer myself, I understand that the lightness and silent operation are nice though). This deal would be hot if it were brand new, but really ought to be around £100 for a refurb.

The SSD is a 4Gb SSD + 12 Gb of added lower spec memory. It's not a single 16Gb SSD.

Just saying, is all.

Is it possible to install windows XP on both of these machines and if so is it simply case of booting from a flash drive, or will i need to buy an external DVD drive ?

Thanks

I have the Aspire One with 4gb SSD (the blue model) and it is soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo slow. It may be just this model but SSD seems to slow for me, XP, ubuntu and W7 all terrible.
