yes i noticed that too, the title says blue, but the listing says silver. i contacted novatech, it is silver

Are these suitable for Windows XP withour reformatting (spec refers to Mac) amd is a little garbled on the website ?

What is the general consensus on reliability etc ?


To naswer my own 1st question, I found this on a review "The drive ships with two data cables (FireWire 400 and USB 2.0), a quick setup poster, and a velour string purse. The drive is bus-powered. Has anyone re-formatted for XP and is it really that easy ?

not really sure about the reformatting part to be honest, but Novatech do have live chat on the website, however im sure there suitable with xp

and about the reliability, you get 5 years warranty, rather than the normal 2 or 3 years, ive also heard good things about western digital though reviews

The Tesco deal is a bit better than this (320GB for £44) although I don't think that is currently on offer. Might be worth waiting
They do still have the £65 500GB drives though..
