No, this is not a good deal, these are dreadful pools, I've got one.
Unlike a normal pool you can't use these until they are full of water and they take several hundred gallons and several hours to fill ("quick up"? VERY funny!). Unless you use heated water (at great expense) they will be freezing cold for several days until they adjust to ambient temperatures. You have to situate them on ground that slopes no more than three degrees, if you put them on grass the weight will suffocate the grass and patches will die after only three days. I've got dead patches.
These are actually designed to be semi-permanent fixtures which is why they come with a cover and filter, the filter, however, is practically useless. After having my own one up a few weeks ago the kids have expressed a preference for their smaller paddling pool, it's warmer.
