Great competition? Really? Well I hope you're not a fast reader. Or have a taste in expensive reference books.

Here is the most relevant part of the T&Cs, should you be the ONLY winner.

3. The prize is a 'year's supply of books' to be chosen by the winner at the rate of no more than 2 books per calendar month. Books must be in-stock on Borders.co.uk at the time of selection. The total prize selection for the year must not exceed the maximum prize value of £365 based on the RRP of all titles.

Just how tight are they? Is Borders.co.uk run by a single individual? If the total prize is based on RRP then at worst they are talking about a £100 outlay for this prize.

I've been to Jumble sales with a bigger haul of raffle prizes. With better odds of winning. Shocking!

Two books a month? I consider two books a week to be a slow reading week. Still worth it though as if it's hard backs that's almost thirty quid a month saving.
