Wouldn't it be better if a number of people e.g 2-3 had to click expire before a thread is classed expired?

Wouldnt it be better if a thread was expired by mistake when still valid not to expire unless clicked by say so many people e.g 5
so if people go on these expiring sprees the person who spent a while putting the deal up when its on isnt frustated
so if a thread was only expired when clicked by so many people would that be easier for HUKD

I doubt that many people go on "Expiring sprees". If they do, then the mods would remove their right to do so.

Leave it as it is.
I doubt that you'd get 5 people all expiring a deal, it could be there for hours.

I get what your saying but when people see a replicated deal they expire it cuz they have it happened to me a couple of times

They shouldn't be expiring replicated deals in any case, they should be spamming them.

This makes no difference to your "problem", but at least you may understand it a bit better.

That's called expire abuse and they should receive a warning/infraction but you would have to prove it was on purpose and not simply an accident. "Oh sorry I thought it was a different date or it was over 3 months old?"
