Not very reliable, when the battery runs out the can gets completely jammed. I've had much better luck with this: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Kenwood-CO60...dp/B0000C72YY/

Same here, wouldn't recommend it. Had to throw it away when it jammed, it was stuck to a tuna can with the tuna still in there The emergency button failed to work too! Not voting.

there is an mains electric one in argos for about £6 which is good value

I am disabled and I WOULDN'T recomend this at all! It has cut my hand several times as it leaves sharp points on the top.

My mum got one of these, I used it and it does the job, but it makes a loud sound when working. It's crazy, gonna stick to my Squire butterfly opener, can't be beat.
