Here Gene Hackman is playing a ruthless, vicious local sheriff and a former gunfighter who's sense of justice is very questionable. The films is about the death of a prostitute and the story of the race to find her killers and to win the $1000 dollar reward for their deaths.

Teaming up with Clint Eastwood again Hackman this time portrays the President of the United States. Eastwood is a thief who accidentally witnesses the President killing a young woman he is spending the night with. Having been discovered Eastwood goes on the run but finds himself wanted for the crime. A terrific thriller with Hackman going all out to keep Eastwood from bringing him down.
Under Suspicion
This time Gene Hackman is back with Morgan Freeman. He's a lawyer who's asked to come to a police station to clear up a few loose ends after he has witnessed the murder of two girls in San Juan. Believing this will be a 10 minute interview with Captain Benezet (Morgan Freeman) he finds himself at on the wrong end of a gruelling interrogation.
Extreme Measures
A tense thriller with Hackman in rather sadistic mode playing a neurologist and head of an organisation who are conducting experiments on live humans while trying to find a cure for paralysis. A New York ER doctor played by Hugh Grant has his suspicions aroused after a homeless man dies in his care. His desperate search leads him eventually to the organisation.....
