T-Mobile Family Booster £5 - Unlimited calls, texts and picture messages between you and 4 people!

£5.00

82°

FOUND BY: meinnit 4 months, 4 days ago

Just noticed this on the T-Mobile website. Similar to Vodafone Family, which is limited to calls and O2 Your Family, which costs £7.50 for the same as T-Mobile package.

Share unlimited* calls and texts between you and four of your family on T-Mobile for £5 per month.

So your daughter can ring for a lift... again, so you can text your brain box cousin for the pub quiz answers, or just so your other half can remind you to feed the goldfish. Any of it sound familiar? With a little help from our new Family Booster, it's even easier to stay in touch with your family - plus it's great value too.

Whoever sets up your Family Booster pays just £5 per month. And that £5 gets you and four of your family on T-Mobile unlimited* calls, texts and picture messages to share with each other.

Your family members can be on any plan but the person who sets up the Family Booster (the organiser) needs to be on Combi, Flext or Solo. It's really easy to set up and look after your family group using My T-Mobile

* Subject to fair use

Terms & Conditions:

The legal stuff you need to know about the Family Booster

* Flext, Combi, Solo or Solo Fixed customer? You can get the Family Booster for £5 extra a month. The Family Booster gives the family organiser and up to 4 family members on T-Mobile unlimited calls and text and picture messages to each other within the UK for their personal use only. The family Booster will stay on the family organiser's account until we're asked to take it off.
* Family members can be any kind of T-Mobile customer. You can be an organiser of one family group and a member of one other family group or the member of two groups at any one time. We'll let the family organiser know when they can start inviting family members, which can only be done using My T-Mobile online.
* A fair use policy applies so if, in the reasonable opinion of T-Mobile, your use of calls, text and/or picture messages to your family members is excessive, we may ask you to reduce your usage. If you fail to reduce your usage, we reserve the right to remove you from the family group and/or to charge you for your excessive use at your usual price plan rate. Family Booster calls will be used before any other allowance or Booster that a member may have to call other T-Mobile customers.
* Family organiser: Remember that, as the names that you use for your family group and invitations will be seen by the whole family group, we'll filter out offensive words and ask you to choose a new name. We'll then send them an invite by text message and once we get an acceptance back, that person becomes a family group member and can then enjoy the benefits of the Booster. We'll let any other family members know that this new member has joined the family by text message too. Once someone has joined the family group, you can remove them at any time but can only replace them once a month. If your account is suspended for any reason, the entire family group's use of the family Booster is suspended too. If your account is closed, the family Booster closes down too. We'll tell all the members if these things happen.
* Family members: If you are on either our 'Standard' or 'Talk and Text' pay as you go price plan, making calls to family members won't count towards your cheaper call rate. If you are not the organiser of your account with us, make sure that you have the account owner's permission before accepting an invitation to join a family group. You'll need to accept an invitation to get the benefits of the Family Booster. If you respond to an invitation whilst you are outside the UK, your text will cost you 30p. You can remove yourself from the family group at any time and if you do, we'll let the organiser and the other members know. If your account is suspended for any reason, your use of the Family Booster will be suspended too.

If i'm on contract with T-Mobile and the GF is on PAYG, she pays £5pm and gets unlimited texts / calls to me?

Obviously being on contract i'm not worried about the calls / texts to her.

Thanks.

I don't think someone on PAYG can be the organiser so you would have to purchase the booster on your contract which gives you get free calls/texts/pic msgs between you.

So if I pay the £5, does that let her then call / text me for free?

Is there any minimum term and does this also apply to a cashback contract?

Yep sure does! As long as shes on T-Mobile. Not sure if the other person has to be in credit to make calls/text but certainly with Vodafone you can have £0 credit and still make/receive calls.

I can't see that there a minimum term, probably just a month.

Have you taken out a contract with a cashback retailer? If so it shouldn't affect it because you're upgrading the tarrif in a way but I would ask them before you make any changes to your account because they look for any reason not to pay out cashback.

I dont have a contract... yet.

Currently on PAYG with O2, using "My O2 Numbers" i get 1000 minutes / texts to 10 O2 numbers - this effectively means I get free calls / texts to my GF as she's on O2.

I want a G1 - which means i'll be on T-Mobile - found a good deal of effectively £17pm for a G1, 700 mins, unlimited text / internet - but the GF is worried she's gonna end up blowing all her money calling me.

This might just solve it all!

Thanks.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

That sucks.

Ok - I'll punch some more numbers in and update it...

EDIT - Wait, i was wrong.

Deal here - http://www.buymobilephones.net/mobil...or-G1/336833,0

It seems the white G1 has been discontinued - which is annoying as it's the one I wanted... :(
