EXPIRED - Refurbished iPod nano 8GB & 16GB (current generation) - 1yr guarentee from Apple £79

£79.00

FOUND BY: jHdE 8 months, 1 week ago

Whole bunch of current gen 8GB & 16GB nanos on the Apple refurb store. These aren't brand new, but they are like new, and carry a 1 year Apple guarentee. There are couple of iPod touches to be had too.

These aren't always faulty items, they are usually customer returns, or store display models. They are guarenteed if they don't work. Just take it to an apple store and they will try an repair it or replace it.

You need to understand how Apple's return policy works here... if you buy a device from them you can return it for a refund within ten days for any reason at all. As soon as that happens it's a refurb unit. I've seen people return iPod's becuase they're the wrong colour (obviously when bought as presents), becuase they went for, say, an 8Gb model then found after using it for a day or two they needed a 16Gb model, because they weren't happy with the way iTunes works and on and on and on. Doesn't have to be physical defects with the product.

I've just bought a 16Gb iPod Touch for my wife as a birthday present and I was amazed - it really does look like new, all the accessories including the little stick on plastic screen cover thing, the only thing it's missing is the original retail box. Not a mark or blemish anywhere. If you want an iPod Nano feel free to go for a refurb unit, you won't regret it.

Yeah, I saw a current generation iMac on the refurb store the other day. £680, gone in like 30 minutes, which was too soon for me to convince myself I needed one...

Not sure how stupid a question this is but...

Is it possible to not use itunes with this(any) ipod or are you forced to use it?

WOW. You still don't understand how Apple refurbs work even after it has been explained in this thread. Nice post. Not.

Just to confirm to those not sure, you get a brand new battery, new outer casing, new screen, it is basically a brand new ipod to all intensive purposes just doesn't come in the stylish plastic presentation box, will probably come in the standard white Apple box.

I bought my first ipod refurb 3 years ago and never consider buying new now.

Hope this helps
