Despite what people say, I've found these a decent media although obviously batch to batch may be different as they are overprints. (Experience from 8x).

At CD-R prices you can't really go wrong!!

Is it ''tuff s**t'' when you get loads of coasters?

I'm not sure, never heard of this brand can anyone else shed some light? Not voted

Do people still use write-once media?

I've got piles of blank CDs & DVDs from several years ago, all now gathering dust.
The combination of massive internal hardrives, broadband, usb harddrives/sticks & memory cards has rendered them obsolete for me.

Used to sell Tuff Disc and they are the biggest pile of doo doo I have come across, IMO. If there was one brand of media that would make you dread going in to work when purchasing had bought a 'special' it was Tuff disc we dreaded the guaranteed returns we had on these. Unless I was to have loads of friends round all the time and needed coasters I personally would stay clear

Half Decent price shame about the brand

Bought 100 a while back, now mostly used. Not had any problems so far. Interesting comments about backup and media. I still backup important files on DVD as well as on other hard disks on the network. Also useful for keeping as offsite backups. A lot harder to delete by mistake than on disk backup. I always burn CDs and DVDs slower than the max. Not sure if it still better, but years ago CDs burnt at 1 or 2 x seemed more reliable and easier to read on other machines. My Futitsu Laptop has the nonsense of not liking certain colour CDs. Could not believe what I was seeing until I did a Google and found it was a common problem on that model.

Looks like a good price, but why don't most writable DVDs have anywhere good to write on - I've had dark grey ones with a couple of tiny lines to write on, very shiny silver ones with a couple of small lines to write on, and TuffDisk with all kinds of logo all over the place.
To get around this, I stocked up on printable disks but my ip4500 printer has had terminal blocked heads (the 4300 only lasted slightly longer)

In my personal experience UKDVDR suck at customer service.

Sorry, but they do, and still owe me £15.

I will never use them again.

If you don't need the 600, it must be more economical to buy them in smaller packs, I've seen 25 -50 boxes of DVD R's go between 8 and 10p a disc.
