Great film but been cheaper at Nix Electronics for ages and works out cheaper on 3 for 2 at amazon

Film even from many many years ago is still of high enough quality to be remastered in high definition.

"pretty much any movie or TV show shot on a 35mm (or larger) film stock has far more resolution than even "Full HD" can show"

Also HD means nothing if the studio doing the transfer to HD does a poor job. There's plenty of Blu Ray films where they actually look better on DVD, because a better job was done by another studio transfering the DVD version.

This is literally one of the best looking Blu Rays I've seen, I was astonished. It's up there with Blade Runner for me, although I'm no expert.

It doesn't matter how old the film is as long as the original print is in good condition and the transfer is done well.

Trust me, this Blu-Ray ticks both of those boxes and it's an amazing looking Blu-Ray film.
