Was looking for a decent running machine without forking out a fortune. Came across this site.

They have overstocks of homebase and argos gear. This running machine is £699 on the Argos site, although you could probably pick it up for £350 during its half price sale. Its a great machine, brand new and you can pick it up to save on delivery costs.

It calculates delivery costs on the basket for different postcodes so couldnt put in the title

I'm not voting either way, but for £300 would want it to take more than 17st. Lots of really well built ones on eBay that go up to 20st+ for less. OK they're not sponsored by Roger Black, but he just sticks his name on a no brand anyway.

The problem I find with 'home' treadmills is that the running surface always slips, no matter how much you tighten it. I've never had the same problem with ones at the gym, I guess they are more heavy duty. I wouldn't say I'm too heavy for them either (13st).

Do you want me to tell you why this is cold? (apart from the fact that Argos regularly do it for the same price).

This company has NO understanding of Distance Selling Regulations..even though they mention them.
1.2.1 (Please note that, under the Sale of Goods Act 1979 (as amended), there is no legal requirement for us to provide a refund if you (the buyer) simply change your mind.)
ILLEGAL (DSR overrides this law)
1.3 In the event that an item is unwanted and purchased in error or the buyer has changed their mind, and we agree in writing to accept the return, a restocking fee of 15% will be deducted before any refund is issued. Along with this, any Shipping, Posting & Packaging charges will NOT be refundable.
ILLEGAL (restocking fee is banned, and they MUST refund your original delivery fee)
1.4 Any cancellation must be given in writing, within 7 working days of receipt of the goods.
ILLEGAL (Does not have to be in writing)
1.5 All returned products must be in original condition and packaging; Any free or complimentary items that may have been given with the ordered goods must be retuned also without exception.
ILLEGAL (original packing not required)
1.6 Stock2go may at it's discretion make additional charges if the items are missing any parts or where there is damage to the packaging
ILLEGAL

The next 1 made me laugh
1.6.1 If you have any questions about whether a product can be returned, please email us on - 01908 560008
(is that an email)?

3.3 Any refund for your order will be the full amount of your order less all delivery charges and a 10% restocking fee
STRANGE...it was 15% earlier...

3.5 Occasionally some items are sold and advertised as "Free delivery" items such as part of a promotion, or a discounted shipping was offered (whether or not the customer was made aware of the shipping discount at the time of purchase). The delivery costs are always incorporated in the price of our items and will be taken into the account when the refund for such item is processed.
SHOCKING..

4.1 In accordance with the Distance Selling Regulations, this is a legally binding contract and we are not obligated to cover any expenses of returning an item back to us.
Hooray..they got 1 right - I guess the law only applies in their favour

What a bunch of cowboys... use at your own peril

Ice cold, Roger Black's a sell out!

This is akin to the 10p skipping rope that Kirsty Gallagher puts her name to, it's still a 10p skipping rope but with a transfer.

The RRP is a joke, these cheap, cheap machines are all the same the only difference is the Plastic coated covering which goes over the display panel, this is the equivilent to a PRECORE one (P*ss Poor)

Save the money and get a second hand reputable brand like Lifefitness off ebay i.e the ones which are in just about every fitness first in the country.
