Designed by SAPPHIRE, the new HD 4850 X2 comprises two complete HD 4850 graphics systems on a single PCI-Express card connected by an on-board PCI Express Gen 2 bridge chip. Each GPU has 800 stream process units and a 256-bit memory interface driving 1GB of GDDR3 memory, making a total of 2GB on-board memory. Four Dual Link DVI outputs are provided as well as TV-Out. This provides a choice of Multi-monitor operation or CrossFire mode in which 3D applications such as games use both on-board GPUs together to deliver a single accelerated output on the Primary display with industry leading levels of performance.

This, i believe, is a good price, hopefully save somebody some cash :)

Had a look into buying this but the reviews are not good ,Unlike the 2gb version which is really good most games work better on the 4870 / 4890 than this and the amount of heat and power used is huge,

Im pretty sure this is the 2GB version, although it states 1GB in the title it does quote "Each GPU has 800 stream process units and a 256-bit memory interface driving 1GB of GDDR3 memory, making a total of 2GB on-board memory" although i admit it is not 100% clear.

It does have pretty high power draw yes, but look at it like your buying central heating at the same time ;)

Got an email from scan, 133.39£ delivered for some forum members (or old i29 code users where you need to make min 20£ order to qualify for free delivery, like myself ) or plus postage for not so lucky folk
