Need help to get new BT land line and broadband service, please !

POSTED BY: pied_piper 4 months, 1 week ago

Hi everybody,

Moving to a new rented flat with no cable broadband available in the area. So the only option is ADSL broadband on a BT landline ( I am not sure if any other company provides land lines which can be used to get a broadband service on).

As the flat has no active BT line and the landlord is not willing to pay off the BT installation charges (about £125 ), so I am looking for any cheaper option to get the line installed and a nice broadband service without download limit ( preferably O2 or something similar).

Can somebody please suggest me some way around.I read in some posts that sky would reimburse us landline installation charges if we sign up for them, but we dont want to sign up for sky.

Any thoughts please? rep will be added

Best Regards

Thanks every body for your help. I signed up for an 18 months contract with BT, though I might have to move again after 12 months. If I leave in the minimum term contract period, I have to pay £7.50 per month for the outstanding period, which amounts to £45 which is still not bad as compared to paying £122 as installation charges.

There is one caution though, you have to make at least 10 chargeable calls a month or you will be charged £6.80 for the month in which you havent made a call.

Beeville, I have pmed you my email address for BE promo. Waiting for your reply.
