Hotukdeals API Feedback

With so many new ways of accessing data, we've introduced the new Hotukdeals API.

Please post any feedback, relevant comments, issues, developmental ideas and suggestions for improvement within this thread so they can be addressed and we can hopefully work together in making this thing a success.

Thanks everyone, and we hope you enjoy making use of the new tools and data.

Do we have a / some developers working full time on this site?
It seems that existing problems aren't getting fixed let alone worrying about new stuff.
Like when you click to add or subtract heat, you quite often get a scroll bar appear beside the temp when you click.
What's that all about. Been reported ages ago, nothing done.
And when changes do get done, who is it done for? 'cos it doesn't always seem to be for the user / funder.

Just my two penny worth.

There'll be some other competitions coming up soon that everyone can get involved in.

Re the developers- they're constantly working to improve the site and fix glitches, often ones that you guys don't even get chance to notice. We're still going to work on new stuff in the meantime though, and we know there are a bunch of members using smartphones and other methods to access HUKD data so hopefully there will be some good submissions.

As much as I love the idea of an API being published, I'm not sure we have enough devs capable of putting anything useful together. Still I hope we do.

However, as someone else has said, can't we fix the long-term problems first?

wouldnt their time be better spent fixing the major bugs?

1. normal search is as broken as ever

2. vouchers now a complete mess on screen and most dont apply to the deals anyway.

3. only 3 link pages on screen when consensus was that 10 was far better.

All we seem to get from the developers are completely ill thought out changes and feedback is just completely ignored.
