lol forgot to mention OCUK put shipping onto the price exc VAT (43.47) then add VAT onto the 43.47+7.75=51.22 * 1.15 (15% VAT) = 58.90.

I'm glad I don't have to pay shipping at OCUK, It makes quite a difference when you are not ordering really expensive items. I would not like ordering a £2 item if I knew the shipping was going to take it to about a tenner with shipping.

This deal will be long gone once an average user meets those requirements.

OCUK, should do what Scan has with AVF & Hexus forums - registered & active member (plus only 20 posts with the latter) with only a £20 excl VAT minimum spend.

The problem with OCuk's customer service is that they're a shop for people who know about computers. Because their prices are often pretty decent there's a lot of neophyte consumers who go to them for specialist parts and then start giving them stick when they can't figure out how to work it, or stick it into a socket back to front or what have you.

I'm not saying they don't sometimes pooch it, and badly at that, but if you consistently get bad service from them, chances are that you're a total noob.

My experience is to first pick the mobo for you then check the QVL then shop around for ram sticks

You may think today almost all mobo and ram makers are big names, but sometimes different chips just wont go together

and this is not really a dirt cheap deal, i remember getting 6 sticks of 2GB of G.Skill 1600Mhz ones in red heatsink for around £150 from novatech +quidco, and its perfectly fit for my Rampage II Gene

OCUK is without doubt the worst company, online or off, I have ever, ever, ever dealt with.

If the product works you may be in luck.

But God, in all his/her variations, help you if you ever have to contact their customer 'services' or need a refund.

Buyer beware.
