Maybe because DX have in the past sent out fake cards. You are better off paying a few more quid and getting a real card as opposed to a factory reject rebranded as a transcend. Plus for £16.99 you can have the 16GB PNY card from play.

Practically most SD cards I have seen have been cheaper than this for 8GB too... exact same one from amazon £11.48
