Its an average deal, you can pick up the 4850 for the same price and sometimes cheaper, which is a better card, this is not the GTX, its the GT.

The GTS 250 can be had for as little as £79 now too, its smaller and runs much cooler, so this is not a hot deal.

I voted cold, you can also get an HD 4850 for less than this, which is a much faster card.

This HD4830 OC is on par with this card

Ive got a 8800gt ...what card should I be looking at around the 100 -150 mark to replace it....and would it be significantly faster?

That would be your best "bang 4 buck" for £150. you would certainly notice a difference.

If you cant use that card, the 4890 is good for £150

We've got people here talking about "bang for buck" then talking about cards twice the price !
Bought one, along with the Pentium dual core 2.8 a Gigabyte MB 4gb ddr2, a new 1tb Samsung HD for a cheap upgrade to my current AMD dual 4200.
