The deal? The tap? Your health? For someone with more than 29000 posts, you still don't seem to understand how the site works.

If the deal is poor, wheres an alternative that's better?

If the item is poor, why?

If you're ill, then awwwww, I'm awfully sorry for you, but that's got nothing to do with the deal so no need to post.

The whole thing. You have to spend £70 (minus 10p) just to get a tap filter supposedly worth £195, which I doubt. But why should I explain myself to a newbie I dont know, and if you vote cold you have to give a reason . . . that's what I was doing. Next you pick on someone, pick someone who won't stand up to your bullying.

Its a kitchen tap with 2 filters you get for your money... you could pay this for a bog standard tap so why not a water filter tap? If you can find it cheaper then please be my guest..

In my eyes its a deal

£99.97 not inc delivery @ Tesco & no cartidges ...http://direct.tesco.com/q/R.204-0865.aspx
£168.44 @ Amazon http://www.amazon.co.uk/BRITA-Solo-N.../dp/B000JI8ZNW
£156.99 @ Screwfix http://www.screwfix.com/prods/59392/...20Filter%20Tap

Any more proof needed?

Jeez!

The filter cartridges I used for my triflow tap at home were less than £60 for 6 months supply and only needed one cartridge. I can't remember the make because I haven't ordered one since the end broke off when trying to fit it.
Just don't believe the hype when a kitchen salesman tries to sell you one as though it'll replace a brita filter.

You shouldn't use these for all the water you use as they remove everything including the minerals that your body would find useful.

Have to agree with the O.P. here. Same old problem of people voting cold without doing any research. Then once it's a little cold it builds it's own momentum. By no means comprehensive, but it took me 5 mins to find similar results as the O.P.

Solo Nebula Tap is £100 from Tesco, but that is clearance.
http://www.google.co.uk/products?q=S...bula+Tap&hl=en

Cheapest I could find cartridge was £30.

So, net is a tenner for the tap, deal IMHO.

Seems good deal to me - these taps can be expensive. Heat and rep added.

It was your attitude, thats why I voted cold, I didn't think this was a good deal (which I'm entitled to think) and thats why I voted cold.
