As are all petrol strimmers......they have a metal motor and obviously a fuel tank full of fuel to carry around, unlike an electric one.
This is far better than an electric one, and at this price there is no direct comparison really .

It's not light, but it comes with a strap that goes round round your body and supports it near the balance point. If you get this adjusted right, then the thing is a breeze to use (you just swing your body back and forth).

I ordered mine yesterday and got it at lunchtime today. (free next day delivery) not sure what the cutoff time for next-day is however..
