All DVDs 5 for £7 @ Cash Generator Edinburgh (South Bridge)

£1.40

56°

FOUND BY: SeanUSX 7 months, 2 weeks ago

*** Please don't vote cold without saying why, thats not really in the spirit of this site ***

Went into the Cash Generator in Edinburgh yesterday, and found that they were selling all their DVDs for £1.99 each, or 5 for £7. They are all pre-owned and/or ex-rental, but I have never had a single problem with a used DVD. And at only £1.40 each using the deal, its a lot cheaper than renting a DVD or buying it new.

And there's a great mix of new DVDs as well, not just the old ones that no one really wants! The offer excludes box-sets, which seemed to be all priced between £3.99 and £14.99 anyway.

Not sure if this is a nationwide deal, as Cash Generator stores are run as franchises.

Oh, and the student discount is revoked on this offer, otherwise it could be classed as stealing...

*** EDIT ***
Okay picture of DVDs here, and receipt is below.
DVDs in the photo are Deja Vu, Hostel, Layer Cake, Walk The Line, and iRobot.

I think its because there is no proof and no listing of what DVDs were available in the store matey. If they were decent DVDs/recent ones then it wont get voted cold.

To put receipt up, go to photobucket, upload photo and then use the links which says "IMG" and post the link into here.

the one at the bottom of leith had all dvds for £1 the other week. i never looked at the titles, but i'm sure it's mostly crap, but at £1 or 5 for £7 you can't go that far wrong. i presume the second hand places are trying to ditch the dvds before they end up like vhs tapes clogging up all the charity shops
