For someone who is looking for latest in external hard drives, I thought it might be of interest .
Price looks very good considering the fact that its 1tb and external too

Shocking hard drive.....I have 2 of the 500gb editions and they are so unreliable. Have heard as well that somehow the 1tb versions are even more unreliable

Better value? Maybe, but end-of-line and now sold out!

I have had a Maxtor 500 external drive for the past 3 years with daily use and no problems so far. There has been some bad press about Maxtor in the past but I have no complains, fingers crossed. Added heat.

Cold, just because it's a totally normal price for an external 1TB USB drive. 1TB drives have been this sort of price, and sometimes a good deal cheaper, for about a year now.
