EXPIRED - GE Energy saving light bulbs SMALL EDISON SCREW (SES) for £1 each 9W=40W (Not sure if 11W is available as well) @ASDA

£1.00

STARTS: 03/08/2009   EXPIRES: 03/09/2009

Been looking for SES cap energy saving bulbs, and have'n seem them cheaper anywhere else. Agreed these are 9W (which i realised once I had reached the checkout, and hence couldnt check for 11w). But still, cheaper than anywhere else I have seen .

Please don't vote cold if you don't know what SES is? Most places which have 6 for £1 only include Baynot and Screw caps. SES is rarely available. If you know of anywhere cheaper let me know and I'll grab a few more as I need them.

All Tescos seem to stock standard SES bulbs at around £1 each (normal price)

The only exception are the nicer looking candle bulbs that look like their earlier counterparts (although slightly larger) which are usually a couple of quid each.

Thanks cb, can anyone else confirm if Tesco and or anywhere else stock the SES for a £1, in which case, I'd wait for a while and wait for them to come on specials!!

Also, you may wish to check Morrisons if you have one nearby as they seem to include the SES bulbs in their normal low energy bulbs offer (3 for 50p etc)

It's a pain in the proverbial, as I prefer the candle shaped ones - but don't enjoy the idea of being scr*wed for a couple of quid a bulb when everyone else can pick up the bayonet types for a penny each!!!
