Any last minute cheap holidays?

A friend of mine is after a cheap getaway abroad somewhere.
She's going with 2 friends and her 16 year old son.
Preferably going on/around 24th august for a week.
Nott too bothered where, somewhere hot and fairly cheap lol.
Doesn't matter if it's self catering or whatever.
What gems have you guys got :)
Do you use any good sites?
I checked out travelzoo etc but not much there.
