Says ipod dock and charge facility on the Tesco site. So I would say it does.

Also on a downside.....Mono sound, no remote control function, analogue AM/FM.

i have have one of these and it does charge the ipod and the ipod touch its well worth the £40.00 from tesco but i bought mine from currys on a managers special for £9.97 abot 3 weeks ago
