Not sure if these are any good but please go easy on me as I don't send many posts...

I saw this deal in Tesco Broughton yesterday for Kaspersky 2010, 3-user internet security, reduced from £49.97 to £24.00.

I also saw Norton 2009, single-user security reduced from £39.97 to £19.00 at tesco too.

Or you could download the free (and really quite good) Panda Cloud Antivirus/Spyware:

Been installing this instead of Avira, AVG or Avast of late and it is the lightest on resources, spots everything, runs with exceptionally little user input, has no advertising and is the full version. Great stuff.

Or, wait a couple of months for MS completely free Antivirus to complement Defender:

The firewall on Windows XP or higher is fine if you have a Firewall router at home and some sense. The integrated firewall with Kaspersky is rubbish regardless. If you feel the need for a software firewall then have a read of this and see what suits:

Actually the XP firewall is pointless if you have a router firewall.

If you have a router firewall (which protects you against incoming threats), you want a software firewall to stop outbound threats, and the XP firewall won't do that. Plenty of free ones including PC Tools, Comodo and Online Armour will do this for you.

The Kaspersky anti-virus engine is very good though (no experience of its firewall or anti-spyware capabilities).

Also have to say to my surprise the new Norton Internet Security 2009 is surprisingly impressive (could never buy it due to all the grief their products have caused me in the past)

Also if you buy the 2009 version from Amazon which is dirt cheap, you can just download 2010 from the Kaspersky site and use the Activation code with that instead!

I would agree with Kaspersky is the greatest, but not the other lines.

Macs are the best. --> yes, for people who think Steve jobs is God., In my opinion Linux is the best(if you know how to customize the latest linux you will know).

Pc's are rubbish --> Sorry, More than 85% of worlds computer is PC.

Will this still work if i've already installed 2009 please.
Seems like a good app,Will i be better off using the vista f/wall then,I'm also behind a router as well.

i instaled this on my laptop from barclays it slowed it down. so kasperskys changed the key free of charge to antivirus only which is ok.
