£72.98

FOUND BY: funkymonkeyboy 3 months, 2 weeks ago

I was looking for a new wireless adsl router and USB adapter for my home computer and came across this deal. Looks good to me. I got £2.09 cashback validated with quidco too. In stock and despatched to me the next day. Good reviews on the net. Alot of other places are out of stock on this item and the free WN111 Wireless 'N' USB adapter is worth around £25 - £40 on its own. Delivery was only £3.99. I've used Netgear routers in the past and found them to be very easy to use and reliable.

Delivery needs to be included in final price and should also be included in the title.

Well done for adding a picture tho!

I had one of these for about 3 weeks. Sold it on ebay as the range was no better than my BT Voyager 2110 Wireless G router. As for the speed, I couldn't get 300Mbps 15 feet away from it with the netgear N dongle shown. Some people report heat issues too. What really let it down was the lack of good tools for blocking access / content for specific computers. 5x the distance, don't make me laugh.

Thanks for this information, as I to am looking for a new modem router. Was recommended this but with further information might go for the D-Link instead. Any other recommendations would be gratefully considered, thanks!

Well this has got to be better than my current BT Homehub. I'm having problems with it. Keeps changing wifi channels and kicking my off the connection. Can't wait to get this setup.

I have found this router to be good ; get 135Mbps. It has a better range than my old ADSL+2 router....and this is using WPA.

No problems with overheating (mine is left on all the time). No problem with Vista 64 bit drivers either. For me nearly all other routers had issues with their Vista 64 bit drives (allot did'nt provide such a driver at all.....). Overall very pleased.

I think this is a great router, it has features that appealed to me such as a wireless on/off switch and the netgear brand, their home routers are generally top class, note that even though most descriptions on many sites say they come with a stand, you will be disappointed to find there isnt any included!

Very good price for a good router and excellent price considering it includes a N USB adapter.

The N USB adapter drivers have been greatly improved in the last few months compared to the ones that were first shipping. I get between 60 and 80Mbps actually transfer rate.

Yes it does get very warm underneath has not caused me an issue but as a precaution I used the stand that came with my old DG834v3 and now is pretty cool. I do not think this is a major issue as all broadcom based routers seem to run warm.
