Depends what you're looking for in both phones really.

The 5800 has a slightly larger screen(3.2"), 3G and GPS whereas this has a 2.9" screen, no 3G and no GPS. Is slightly smaller than the 5800.

Sits below 5800 in the product range and if you don't require the extra features then this is best bet value-wise...also looks better too!

main difference are that
5800 processor has a clock speed of around 285mhz while 5530 has a slightly faster processor of 350mhz (meaning you wait less time to open the applications)
But,

you have no 3G in 5530 (if you have unlimited data plan then 5800 wins)
You have no AGPS in 5530

I was with Vodafone but changed to Asda, far cheaper on payg. The ironic thing is that Asda use the Vodafone network!

Would my Asda sim card work ok in this, seeing it uses Vodafone's network.

Thanks

No, 5530 has a 434Mhz processor like the N97, 5800 has 369Mhz processor like 6120 and 6124.

All use the same ARM 11 processors but clocked at different speeds. So this should be faster than the 5800.

I would agree with you.
Fat better features and much better than LG Cookie is not it? if LG Cookie is 100 pounds worth then sheeling out another 30 quids for this to get a wifi and Nokia touchscreen is really worth it....dont forget nokia is throwing in a 4 gb memory card too.
