Marques Monistrol Cava Clos Monistrol vintage 2006 750ml.
Description:Long-lasting bubbles after 30 months of ageing this cava is a stylish, elegant sparkling wine with great finess


This is the cheapest I've ever managed to buy this Cava....
It's often offered at half price...£5.99

But now there's an additional 5% for over six bottles
I bought a box of six so had another£1.80 deducted =£5.69

But I didn't realise until after putchasing that it is also included in a 4 for 3 deal,
Giving me another£5.99 deduction, that's -£1.0 per bottle ...

Total price per bottle £4.69.

If I had bought eight instead of six bottles I would have had another £5.99 deducted..
Work that out yourself...LOL.


Edit.. Buying eight bottles would cost £4.19 a bottle... absolute bargain.

That looks like a good deal, not sure I want 6 bottles but the 4 for 3 is very tempting. Will check it out tomorrow thanks

It's not the price it's the taste of this muck it's not good stuff cheap it's just cheap vile tasting muck, the company wher i work gives us a bottle of this cheap plonk every year, i always take great pleasure in popping the cork & tipping it down the sink then opening a nice bottle of wine costing no more than £3.99 a lot better

I thought it must be someone that doesn't realise how the voting works...

It's not a forum to discuss weather you like a product, or not. But it's all about DEALS... If you can find it cheaper, then sure vote cold..
If you can't provide a cheaper source then it must be a hot deal..

I've drunk plenty of this particular Cava.. and enjoyed it... You obviously don't.... Doesn't make it a bad deal.

Why not give us a link to the £3.99 wine you think better than this... I'll give it a try..LOL.

Couldn't disagree more with this. Good vintage cava is often better than a cheap non-vintage champagne, on this basis I've made it my business to try as many cavas out there as possible over the last couple of years. This stuff is amongst the very best I've come across. I've had several cases (always from Sainsbury's) at different times. Always get great feedback from friends & family on this one. So a great deal in my book...
