Nokia 5800 - £20pm on Orange @ Phones4U - 400 mins, 3000 texts

Phones4U are currently doing the Nokia 5800 Xpress in Black/Silver colour on the Orange Dolphin £30pm tariff. It's an 18 month contract automatically discounted by £10pm for the term of the contract, hence £20pm.

I know a very similar deal was posted recently through Dial-a-phone but there was a mixed response regarding their customer service. I've never used Phones4U so cannot vouch for them myself, however I guess at least they have a High Street presence, to help with any issues, etc.

Also I personally think the 5800 looks best in the Black/Silver colour, and I think this colour is exclusive to Orange for some reason?

Oh yeah, £30 quidco cashback available.

The Virgin deal is a stonking offer for this phone. If you want more talk time on Virgin just install Fring and make all your calls via the web. I went for that over this.

Virgin = Tmobile though, so it's not one of the proper networks like Orange.

T-mobile's got pretty decent reception AFAIK, not quite as wide as Voda, but almost...

I think that Virgin deal expired on the 10th.

T-mobile just has terrible signal where I live, guess you get that with some networks in certain places though.

the boss in phones 4 u said some things he shouldnt have along with asking how my hubby puts up with me and when i called to say how upset i was with there treatment and the swareing i got £60 in the post so they may not be the best but good at making up for there mistakes

I got this phone when I saw the dialaphone offer but I rang Orange direct to see if they could beat it. After haggling I managed to get 800 minutes, unlimited texts and 80mb anytime web for the life of the 18 month contract for £19.57. As I mostly use the wifi for any web stuff, 80mb is fine for me.
I then rang up for my hubby a week later to try and get the same deal and he got 600 minutes, unlimited text, unlimited anytime web for £19.47 per month but it was a 24 month contract. I think this is too long but he really wanted to unlimited data so he was fine with the 24 months. Pays to ring them direct and don't take the first offer they make you.
With my phone, they didn't offer the anytime web data at first but I said I wanted more than 2 months free (which came with the phone anyway) and they went away and came back with a better offer.
