to put a picture on, save the pic and then upload it to a picture hosting site such as photobox.com, this will then give you the link for putting the picture on

more info here
https://www.britishgas.co.uk/product...-savers/TV.htm

"Leave your TV on standby and you'll be wasting valuable energy. The TV Standby Saver turns the power off when you press the standby button on your remote control - and cuts power to your DVD player, satellite box, games console or speakers too. "

How do you turn it back on?

"Infra red version
The Infra red version can be operated using any appliance that is controlled with an Infra red remote control. The Infra red unit works with your existing remote control and learns signals from it. Using the Standby Saver extension after a small delay the power to all devices is switched off. When switched back on using the Infra red remote, Standby Saver returns power to all the equipment."

Clever!

Get a multi-extension lead, plug all your equipment in, switch the wall plug off when you have finished watching and you will use no electricity.

Best of all, you will save the planet by not supporting the manufactoring of a surplus gadget. plus save yourself £9.99. LOL

After reading all the jargon on the website i'd have to agree.

Useful if your switch is in a hard to reach place though
