You don't have to explain why when you're voting cold, its not bad manners either. You're taking this too seriously mate, if people think its a exceptional deal, they will vote it hot. As said in a previous post, it was cheaper a few weeks ago, this is HOTukdeals not Alrightukdeals. Voted cold.
You can tell me I'm taking this too seriously all you like, frankly I couldn't care less. I still think it's a far more valuable contribution to the site to leave feedback as to why an item is cold. It takes seconds to do so, and adds far more to the community than a stack of people voting cold for no reason. For starters, providing feedback as to why you think it's cold will enable other HUKD'ers to seek an alternative product or find the same product at a better price. At the end of the day, as you say, it's HOTukdeals. If the deal's not the best, we all owe it as part of the HUKD community to show others where the best deals are. I think nearly every registered member has probably benefited financially from using the site, the least people can do is try and repay the favour by offering suggestions on the best deals for other products if they're going to vote cold.
