no real moving parts so not much to break(personally i rarely hear of laptops going bad hell some pentium 3's are still going)if i had any doubts it would be the screen,easy to replace anything bar that.

Under 'Clearance' on the left hand side - select the screen size and browse. Just bought a 14.1" refurb with 2 Gig for £204.98 delivered. Perhaps not as tempting as the expired offer but look around and see if you can match even close to this.
