For those looking for a prepaid card, O2 have just launched 2 prepaid cards - Cash Manager and Load & Go. Works like a Visa debit card. This is only available for active O2 customers.
What's the difference between Cash Manager and Load & Go cards?
You can load money onto a Cash Manager card online using a UK debit card. With Load & Go, you can load money online, or you can put cash onto your card at O2 shops, any independent retailer or petrol station that show either the PayPoint or e-pay signs or anywhere you see a PayPoint or e-pay sign.
Good thing I noticed is that the card is free to obtain with free UK atm withdrawals. 2.75% of transaction value for non-UK. And you get a refund of any funds left over when you cancel the card (unlike some I've seen!)
I think these will be good for taking to festivals / gigs where there's so many people about and you don't want to take risk losing your wallet.
For a limited time, they are offering a £5 thank you when you load the card with at least£50 in consecutive months.
