cheap place to stay for a few days in london, or just out of!!

Hello all.. So end of next month I have a possibility of going to london, 19-22 sort of date.

Looking to see if there is anywhere cheap to stay...I dont know where to start and hoping to get advice off people who know london.

Hopefully not too far from the station..as that is how I will be arriving.

There's plenty of Travel lodges within London, always easy to get too from the tube stations, I've stopped at a few no problems.

My mum just did that last week, was £50 a night for two of them with an en suite.

budget extremley cheap... i dont have much of a job, so not much money myself.. although im not a student anymore think of me as one .. haha

and i just want to be in london town centre if poss... a typical tourist if u like.
