The best benefit of this is it does not affect or put your hard earn no claims bonus at risk.

Reason I am posting this is I think its a great option for those times you need to borrow someone else s car or friends and family want to borrow yours and not on your insurance.

About a month back I was going on holiday and the person looking after my house needed the use of my car to drop us off and collect us from airport etc. I had to add them to my insurance which once upon a time used to be free but I was required to pay a £50 fee for a policy update..., was probably cheaper to use the airport parking but hey if only I thought about things like that in advance.

My sister was quoted £23.50 to use my diesel golf for the day, the £5 price seems a bit misleading, and probably only works out as an average if you buy a years insurance which is proper steep.

They also don't ask for No Claim Bonus which is a bit rubbish seeing as we all have 9 years!!!

anyone else had any luck?

It shows up as a ' Swinton Introducer Fee' at £5.00 so maybe paying £5 notes for the privilage..... used to be £17 odd quid for me [ 27 ] via insure daily [ norwich union ] on a group 16 car so COLD from me

If your just buying for the day it probably is gonna cost 20 pound odd for the day, I just got a quote for 28 day cover and it worked out at £5.45 per day.

By the way, those peppers/chilli peppers look fantastic....

I find myself using 1/4 bottle of tobasco on my food these days, I love 'hot' food...
